Screening At Calaveras Big Trees
February 18, 2012 – SOLD OUT SHOW! STANDING ROOM ONLY. CALIFORNIA FOREVER (75 minute version) screened at Jack Knight Hall in Calaveras Big Trees State Park. It was the first of a series of screenings various park partner associations will hold as fundraisers in their communities to help keep parks open. This screening was close to the heart of filmmakers David Vassar and Sally Kaplan, who fell in love with the area while filming and purchased a home there. A front page article about the moviemakers and the film ran in the Calaveras Enterprise.
The week after the screening, a rave review came out again in the Calaveras Enterprise. See review here.
